5TH WHEEL Limited Warranty Terms
Effective Date: May 1, 2024
This Limited Warranty is issued by 5TH WHEEL, Inc. and applies only to products purchased via our official website: ride5thwheel.com. If you buy from other dealers or retailers, please check their own warranty policy.
Before Your First Ride
Please read the user manual provided with each product. It contains important safety, assembly, usage, and maintenance information.
For Original Purchaser
We provide a 1‑year warranty on each 5TH WHEEL e‑bike and e‑scooter (wear‑and‑tear items excluded), starting from the date you receive the product.
For Subsequent Owner
We offer a 1‑year warranty (wear‑and‑tear excluded) for second or later owners, based on the original receipt date. To claim, subsequent owners must provide proof of original purchase (original owner’s name & order number).
Note: Shipping fees may apply if parts or a replacement bike are needed. Please contact service@ride5thwheel.com for assistance.

🔄 Warranty Process
To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our customer service and provide:
- Proof of purchase
- Detailed description of the issue
- Photos and/or videos showing the problem
⚠️ Important: Please stop using the product until the issue is resolved for your safety.
📦 Separately Purchased Accessories
1. Within 7 Days of Receipt:
- If the accessory has a quality issue, return/exchange shipping will be fully covered by 5TH WHEEL.
- If there is no quality issue, exchanges are not accepted; returns incur a 20% handling/shipping fee (minimum $15).
2. After 7 Days of Receipt:
Returns and exchanges are not accepted.
Note: Wear‑and‑tear items are not covered by warranty. These include tires, brake pads, bearings, chains, free hub bodies, grips, rubber parts, shifter, brake cables & casings, spokes, sprockets, stripped threads/bolts, tools, transmission gears, etc.
❌ Warranty Exemption
If one of the following occurs, the warranty will be void and repairs will be chargeable:
- Warranty period or scope exceeded per “Three Guarantees Standard”.
- Failure to use, maintain, or adjust the product per instructions.
- Damage from rain, snow, smoke, chemicals, corrosion, or natural defects.
- Force majeure: earthquakes, fires, floods, mass events, crime, etc.
- Battery storage abused: stored plugged in >1 month, or separated with <50% charge >3 months, causing seal under-voltage.
- The user modifies, disassembles, repairs, and destroys the normal use of the product as a whole and its parts.
- Damage to parts caused by the user using non-original accessories or unauthorized modification of circuits and line configurations.
- Product failure or damage caused by human factors such as collision, fall, overloading, speeding, etc., during driving.
- No valid three-guarantee certificate, after-sales service card, or the number on the purchase invoice, certificate, or card does not match the product.
- The user arbitrarily alters or changes the three-guarantee service date of 5TH WHEEL products and parts.
